Inflation Outlook

We are of the opinion that inflationary pressures will rise due to labour demands in South Africa. This is  supported by Eskom’s, the national power supplier, demands for higher than inflation increases. A further  determining factor is the rise of the Consumer Price Index (CPI). In South Africa, the Consumer Price Index or  CPI measures change in the prices paid by consumers for a basket of goods and services.
